The purpose of the aeromedical examination is to determine whether the individual meets the relevant health requirements necessary for flight safety. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth and successful examination process.
1. Appointment Booking
- The examination is only conducted by prior appointment. Please book your appointment through our online platform.
2. What to Bring with You
- Personal identification documents (ID card, passport, or driver’s license)
- Previous aeromedical certificate (if applicable)
- EAMR ID number (if applicable)
- Glasses or contact lenses, if you use visual correction
- Hospital discharge reports or specialist medical records, in case of previous illness or surgery
- A certificate from your general practitioner listing any regularly taken medications
- Recent laboratory test results (within 3 months) – if required by us
3. How to Prepare for the Examination
- Get sufficient rest the night before – fatigue or lack of sleep can affect the results
- Avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours before the examination
- Refrain from consuming caffeine (coffee, energy drinks) a few hours prior to the examination
4. What to Expect During the Examination
- Routine internal medical check-up
- Visual and hearing tests
- ECG and blood pressure measurement
- Blood and urine tests
- In some cases, a psychological assessment
