Information for Applicants to Aeromedical Examination

The purpose of the aeromedical examination is to determine whether the individual meets the relevant health requirements necessary for flight safety. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth and successful examination process.

1. Appointment Booking

  • The examination is only conducted by prior appointment. Please book your appointment through our online platform.

2. What to Bring with You

  • Personal identification documents (ID card, passport, or driver’s license)
  • Previous aeromedical certificate (if applicable)
  • EAMR ID number (if applicable)
  • Glasses or contact lenses, if you use visual correction
  • Hospital discharge reports or specialist medical records, in case of previous illness or surgery
  • A certificate from your general practitioner listing any regularly taken medications
  • Recent laboratory test results (within 3 months) – if required by us

3. How to Prepare for the Examination

  • Get sufficient rest the night before – fatigue or lack of sleep can affect the results
  • Avoid alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours before the examination
  • Refrain from consuming caffeine (coffee, energy drinks) a few hours prior to the examination

4. What to Expect During the Examination

  • Routine internal medical check-up
  • Visual and hearing tests
  • ECG and blood pressure measurement
  • Blood and urine tests
  • In some cases, a psychological assessment

  • The examination will take approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on examination type.
